Current Transformer Cabinets provide outdoor protection and security for instrument current transformers, which are frequently required for transformer-rated watt-hour metering. Cabinets can also be used as junction or service boxes and house meter, transformer, relay or terminal assemblies.
These Terminal Boxes are wire-splice boxes for outdoor commercial and industrial applications that have a feeder tap to branch circuits. Boxes are available in three- or four-wire configurations in sizes up to 400 A.
Pagoda tops are designed to be used with Hoffman’s Impeller packages. Pagoda tops include aluminum dampers and a stainless steel mesh to prevent the ingress of debris. Solid tops are designed to be used with a closed-loop cooling solution.
To be used on terminal boxes for easy and secure entry through the top of the enclosure for conduits sizes 1 to 2.5 inches.
Lug Assembly tap feeder to branch circuits in terminal boxes. Each 400-amp main lug has copper/aluminum (CU/AL) connectors secured to insulators.
These Current Transformer Cabinets (for Window-Type Current Transformers) provide Type 3R protection and a factory-installed wiring buss for 400-800 Amp, 600 VAC current transformers. The assembly has a 50 k AIC rating.
